Frequently asked questions
What do I need to do to reserve my spot on the Israel trip? All you need to do is fill out the form here and pay your $300 deposit. The $300 deposit will go toward the total cost of the trip and will reserve your spot on the trip.
What if I need to cancel? 91+ days out will be a $100 fee to cancel, 90-61 days out will be your deposit amount, 60-46 days out will be 40% of the final cost, 45-31 will be 65% of the final cost, 30-8 days out will be 85% of the final cost, and a week or less out will be 100% of the final cost.
Is it safe to travel to Israel? It is very safe to travel to Israel. People tour Israel every day and have no issues at all. The places we're going are very secure.
Will I have a roommate? Yes. If you're traveling with a spouse, they will be your roommate. Each room will have 2 people in them.
Do I need a passport? Yes. Passports typically take 90 days or so to come in so make sure you are working on that now. You can get a passport at a post office near you. When you do get your passport, please send us the passport number, issue date, and expiration date for your file.
What airport will we be flying out of? Columbia airport.
Can I invite a friend or family member who doesn't attend Dream? Yes but we do request they have a true relationship with Jesus to sign up, as this will be a trip 100% geared toward those who already have a relationship with Jesus.
What extra money will I need to take with me? Money for lunches on all days except for one (all other meals are covered), and any extra money you want for souvenirs.
When is the final payment due for the trip? The final payment is due December 1, 2018. For most, it will help to pay in increments. If you want to pay monthly (you can even setup recurring giving to automatically have money come out of your account throughout the year until December 1) for example, after you've paid your initial deposit of $300, you could pay $314.30 per month and be fully paid for by the end of November.
Will we have scholarships available if I can't pay the full price for the trip? Yes but this should be a last resort as these are not guaranteed and are given, if available, on a case by case basis.
Should I give toward my trip or to scholarships rather than tithe? No. The tithe is totally different and is a form of worship. Do not tithe less because of this trip. Tithe and then trust God to provide for the rest.
