The Generosity of God

As kids, we had two responsibilities: having fun and trusting mom and dad (or whoever raised you) had everything else under control. But through experiences and let downs, we matured into finding our worth in what we did, rather than who we are. We had to “earn it.” If we’re going to fully understand Christmas, or the kingdom of God for that matter, we’re going to have to journey back to child-like faith where we are worthy because of who we are and live with hands wide open to receive goodness unending.
