Holiness means "to be set apart by and for God." In the past, holiness is typically associated with "works based Christianity" where righteousness is earned. This has been a fatal flaw and the reason why the topic of holiness has been avoided in the last decade by most leaders and churches. Holiness isn't how you earn righteousness (or Christianity for that matter), holiness is what is produced FROM righteousness and you being saved.
