Dream Church is a church family with a mission to reveal heaven to the earth.
Identity over everything
We, who are in Christ, are the sons and daughters of God, thus heirs to the kingdom of God. We are not called to live a life of fear or timidity; we're called to live a life full of authority over all powers of the earth, because of Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection. This is the most important value of our church, and in the life of the believer, because identity is the difference between freedom and slavery. You are son or daughter of the Most High God.
Genesis 1:28 / Galatians 4:1-7 / John 14:12
The Holy Spirit is the foundation and surrender to him is the work
We are a family that is built on the foundation of, and fully surrendered to, God, The Holy Spirit. If Jesus told the early church to wait for the Holy Spirit before they started taking the gospel to the world, we believe we should do the same. Everything we do is geared toward hosting a continual measure of The Holy Spirit and we believe the greatest way to honor His work is to live surrendered to Him. We also believe we have the greatest access to the power of the Holy Spirit because "the glory of the latter house is greater than the glory of the former house."
Acts 1 & 2, Haggai 2, Hebrews 12
Generosity flows from thanksgiving
We give from a heart of thanksgiving for who God is and His love for us. God does promise to bless those who give obediently, but a greater seed of giving is one that comes from radical thanksgiving rather than what we can get in return. We're responsible for obedience, He's responsible for provision.
2 Corinthians 9:11 / 2 Corinthians 4:15
Nothing is Impossible
We believe God has called every believer to live a life free of impossibilities. In the physical and the spiritual, God has called us to have authority, in Jesus Christ, over the things of this world and to usher in "heaven on earth." Because of this, we will be a church that is radical in our belief of what God can do through us, all to the advancement of His glory.
Luke 1:37 / Matthew 6:10 / John 14:12-14
Revival starts with us
Revival was never intended to be a week long event where you just go to church every night. Revival literally means "an improvement in the condition or strength of something". We believe the most effective form of revival isn't contained within the walls of our Sunday services; It's when the individuals of our church start taking what we experience on a Sunday, to work with them on Monday. True revival starts with our willingness to be revived and to revive those around us.
Psalm 85:6 / Romans 8:22-23
Our answer is always "yes"
Obedience is the call on the life of every believer. We're called to live by faith, not by sight. That's why we place high importance on our response to anything God asks of us to be "yes." The "in Him" dimension is accessed only by those willing to live the life marked by consistent yeses.
Hebrews 11:6 / James 2:23
Unity, within family, is the intention of the church
As we see in the book of Acts, God's intention for the church was unity within family. That's why, in Acts 4:32, it says, "Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common." Jesus calls fellow believers brothers and sisters because we, who are in Christ, are all coheirs with Christ in the kingdom of God. Therefore, the church is called to be a family of brothers and sisters, completely united in the gospel that saved us.
Acts 4:32 / Galatians 4:1-7
Honor marks the one "in Him"
Honor simply means high respect or esteem. One of the greatest lacks in the church today is honor for each other, for those in authority, and for God himself. We want to be a church that exudes honor from everything we put our name to.
